" Already in those early years, the low level of education in Russia worried progressive people. It is significant that this expression has not lost its meaning in the 21st century.

No matter how many years have passed, almost every one of us still remembers the name of our first teacher who taught us wisdom. Surely, they are also remembered by the great minds of world importance, who, having received certain knowledge at school, devoted themselves to science and make a breakthrough into the future. Many of them became Nobel laureates, discovering the world of the unknown.

And how many school graduates have become teachers, following their beloved teacher, who instilled a love for his subject!

But lately the prestige of the teacher has been falling. This was influenced by a number of factors. First of all, the low salaries of teachers. This was noted by the majority of the interviewed teachers, pointing out their low social status. The prestige of the teacher is also affected by the insufficient preparation of future applicants in schools. This is evidenced by the low results of independent testing. Only a few showed a high level of knowledge at the ZNO. And the competition in pedagogical universities is not high, so those who have not entered prestigious universities come here to study.

Strange, but only in Korea, in terms of their importance, the teacher and the doctor are equally highly respected and trusted. These professions stand side by side in the vocabulary of this nation.

All over the world thought about raising the authority of teachers in schools. The Arab billionaire established the Global Teacher Prize for teachers in 2014 for outstanding contributions to the profession. The prize fund is $ 1,000,000!

This project, unique in its scale, was also picked up in Ukraine. Its goal is the same: to raise the prestige of the teacher and raise the level of education in the school. The prize fund of this national project for the Global Teacher Prize Ukraine is UAH 100,000.

To remedy the existing situation in schools, the Ukrainian government significantly raises the salaries of both university graduates and teachers with a category.

By the start of the new school year, computers and other attributes have appeared in many classrooms to help students learn the curriculum more easily. Taking into account the requirements of the introduced package of new school reforms, many teachers, mainly newly minted university graduates, are already looking for new forms of presenting material. Others, older, with sufficient work experience, question the need to seek innovation in their work, believing that they are competent in their lessons, and the students are excellent at mastering the program. And if you think about how much respect a computer science teacher will have among students, who will introduce them in an interesting and exciting way with the basics of programming, and maybe with a large volume! Future professionals in this industry will be delighted with the teacher who gave them an impetus to choose a profession.

And yet, despite the resistance, innovative ideas and innovative approaches in education come to the fore in teaching. The teacher must not only carry knowledge, but also help children reveal their hidden talent. Who does not know the cases when, despite all the efforts of the teachers, the child cannot master the curriculum? But there is a hitherto not found zest in it, for example, a future artist, athlete, musician, singer, dancer, social worker ... Finding the deeply buried sparks of a child's talent is the teacher's task. Only in these cases a trusting relationship develops between teacher and student. The student becomes a Personality, he is reckoned with, he is respected, appreciated. Such a teacher is equally respected by children and their parents. Students adore and love these teachers.

Seeing, revealing, and forming a personality in every child from 5 to 18 years old is an urgent task of the modern school and its teachers. This is the requirement of the times.

In the future, achieving certain results in their lives, such students will not be tormented by remorse that at one time, for example, they did not remember the ratio of the length of the circle to its diameter, i.e. the PI value of 3.14159265339 was not mastered by tg and ctg, cos, cosec and much more. They didn't need it in their profession. But future leading engineers, designers, designers, computer scientists cannot live without knowledge of the exact sciences.
